Lawn in Lakeshore in Motreal

      2016/03/19

We drove to Lakeshore.
We drove to Lakeshore in Montreal.

The place is around here.

The scenery of Lakeshore Road. Right in front is Lake Saint-Louis.
In front is Lake Saint-Louis.

The scenery of Lakeshore Road. Right in front is Lake Saint-Louis. There is one tree in front of it.
Though it is named Lake Saint-Louis, it is a widening of the St. Lawrence River. After seeing this, I do not understand the difference between the lake and river.

There always is a lawn in front of a house in Montreal.
There always is a lawn in front of a house in Montreal. Although we also actually wanted to plant lawn in front of our house when we built it after came back to Japan, our house is facing north, it is warrisome to plant lawn in the north side of a house in “Hokuriku” region. After considering the sunshine and lawn growth, we planted the lawn in the southern backyard.

I like the summer in Montreal. Dazzling summer sunshine, but it is not humid unlike Japan.

Blue sky, blue Lake Saint-Louis, and green lawn and a green tree.
Because it is in a high latitude, it is cold and dark in the morning and the evening during winter, but it is well-lighted even at 9 o’clock in the night during summer, so that we can fully enjoy a long day. This time’s photos were taken on September 1st, 2008.
