a brown place, The same TM9 in the same yard seem to show different degree of winter dormancy, depending on the condition.

Small green weeds with brown roots aligned on the tile deck.
I also removed the same weeds as the other day, again.

Conifers and ash in the entrance. Bright sunlight and clear blue sky.
The effort to have finished Fuyu-gakoi of conifers in November is not helpful at all for the moment. But it should work before the end of January.
